OVERCLOTHESUMPTION

COLLECTION CAMPAIGN - 2019

Fashion designer Laura Jasiunaite favours the use of deadstock materials, specifically natural fibres such as cotton, linen and wool, whilst incorporating some innovative materials such as pineapple leather, pineapple fibre and other biodegradable materials.

With sustainability at the core of the brand, she takes into consideration all aspects of the design and production process, aiming to reduce waste and environmental impact to the minimum. This collection rejects the classification garments into the garment categories as such, instead merging garments into one another creating unique pieces which can be worn in a variety of ways.

Following the same values, the Overclothesumption campaign was elaborated by reusing available materials such as fabric scraps and toiles collected over the years. By decorating the set with such materials, not only we did not produce any waste, but we also created the perfect scenery to represent the brand's rawness and earthy style, while defining the core message of the collection: the necessity to stop overconsumption and waste.
